Resident Assistant Position

Resident Assistants are students committed to helping residents enjoy all aspects of campus life. The RA serves as the liaison between the students and administrators, reports maintenance requests, informs residents of upcoming events, and also lends an ear when needed. The RA provides the opportunity for residents to get acquainted through planned activities, educational programs, and being knowledgeable of various services offered on campus.  To be hired as a Resident Assistant you must have at least a 2.4 cumulative and semester GPA.

Resident Director Position

Resident Directors are students pursuing graduate degrees who supervise the RAs within each building. The RD oversees the overall operation of the hall, keeps regular office hours, and is available to residents. The RD serves as the hall council advisor and as a conduct officer for policy violations occurring within the hall. The Resident Director position is available to qualified students who are willing to commit to a two year position.
