HARMLESS AND INDEMNIFIES THEM FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS FOR DAMAGES TO PROPERTY
OR INJURY TO PERSONS ARISING FROM OR CONNECTED WITH THIS EVENT. BY SIGNING THIS FORM, YOU OR THE SPONSORING
ORGANIZATION, WHERE APPLICABLE, ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR MAINTAINING
APPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR DURING THE EVENT; APPROPRIATE CLEAN-UP OF FACILITY
FOLLOWING THE EVENT AND FOR COMPLIANCE WITH RADFORD UNIVERSITY POLICIES AND THE
LAWS OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF VIRGINIA.
FAILURE TO ABIDE BY THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT MAY RESULT IN
CANCELLATION OF EVENT AND/OR CHARGES BEING BROUGHT AGAINST YOU AND/OR THE
SPONSORING ORGANIZATION, WHERE APPLICABLE.

User agrees to provide Commercial General liability
insurance in which user is named as insured in the amount of $1,000,000
covering bodily injury, including death, and property damage, which shall cover
this program and shall provide copy of certification of Insurance to Radford University no later than 10 days before
PUBLIC SAFETY AND INDEMNITY: User agrees to conduct his/her activities
upon the premises so as not to endanger any person lawfully thereon; and to
indemnify, defend and hold harmless Radford University, its Trustees, Officers,
Agents and employees from all demands, claims, suits, actions, or liabilities
resulting from injuries or death to any persons or property damage or loss by
Peters Hall, user, or any persons, howsoever caused, during the period in which
this agreement covers the use of the area reserved during the agreement period.
shall be responsible for the payment of any and all damages to the area
reserved, furnishings, fixtures, or equipment whether caused by user or his/her
participants, normal wear and tear excluded.
Damages to the premises shall be repaired at the expense of the user.
Radford University does not waive its sovereign
immunity by entering into this agreement and retains all immunities and
defenses provided by law.
ADDITIONAL REGULATIONS: The Peters Hall Management reserves the right
to impose any additional rules or regulations, whether or not expressly
provided herein, which may be necessary for the best interest of Peters Hall or
Radford University, and all such regulations
shall be binding upon the user. All
users shall comply with the laws of the United
States and the State of Virginia,
and all rules and regulations of Radford
University and its Board
of Trustees. Violations by the user will
result in cancellation of this agreement.
General Use Policies
beverages and illegal drugs are prohibited.
tobacco use is prohibited in the building and 25 feet from all entrances
of the building.
- Signage/Fliers: Signs/fliers can NOT be attached to
walls, doors, windows, ceilings, floors, furnishings, and other areas not
designated for this purpose.
Facility manager approval must be obtained on all signage used for an event prior to scheduled date.
the reserved room to its original setting upon completion of event.
trash must be picked up and put in the trash room C002 of Peters Hall.
and chairs must be obtained through Facilities Management (831-7800). Please make arrangements to have tables,
chairs, grills, etc. picked up immediately following event.

admittance to the A-section of the building before, during or after event.
admittance to other areas of Peters Hall after building closes for program
group is responsible for monitoring crowd (i.e., no alcoholic beverages,
foul language, fighting, pets, etc.).

contact a Peters Hall manager at 831-5297.

Gymnasium B102 Policies
- General Use Policies apply to the Gymnasium.
- Reservations must be made:
- Minimum 5 days prior to event date for activity/athletic event.
- Minimum 10 days prior to event date for non-activity/athletic event.
- Minimum 21 days prior to event date for closed/open social.
- Non-activity/athletic may require the court being covered and will be determined by facility manager
- Flammable liquids are prohibited.
- Confetti and/or glitter are prohibted.
- No dried vegetation may be used.(eg. hay, bamboo, tree limbs, straw, leaves, etc.)
- Decorations may not hang from cieling.
- No helium filled balloons are permitted in the gym.
- Fire alarms must remain free of decorations.
- Gymnasium lights are prohibited from being turned off during event. Facility Manager reserves rights to approve alternate lighting.
