Orientation Assistants

New Student Orientation

We offer two New Student Orientations. One for new freshmen, and one for transfer students. These summer orientation programs begin the supportive process with a comprehensive overview of university culture, resources and services.

The main objective for both programs is to academically advise and schedule new students for the upcoming fall semester. Faculty advisors and student leaders who serve as Orientation Assistants offer new students guidance and reassurance during the time they are here.

The freshmen program is a day and a half long, beginning with check-in between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM on the first day, and will conclude around noon the following day.

The transfer program is a day-long program, with check-in between 9:00 AM and 9:45 AM, and should conclude no later than 5:00 PM.

Notice:

Students attending Fall Orientation will make payment at orientation upon completing registration.
