New Student Orientation
We offer four orientation programs: two summer events, one for new freshmen and one for transfer students, one fall and one spring event. Our orientation programs begin the supportive process with a comprehensive overview of university culture, resources and services.
The main orientation objectives are to academically advise and register new students for the upcoming semester. Faculty advisors and student leaders who serve as Quest Assistants offer new students guidance and reassurance during the time they are here.
The summer freshmen program is a day and a half long, beginning with check-in between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM on the first day, and will conclude around noon the following day.
The summer transfer program is a day-long program, with check-in between 8:00 AM and 9:45 AM, and should conclude no later than 5:00 PM.
The fall and spring events take place a few days prior to the start of each semester. The fall event is designed for those students unable to attend one of the summer programs, and the spring event is for all students starting school in the spring semester.
