On campus?

To do: Join a club/organization, we have over 250! Go to the Bonnie and play pool, bowl, watch a movie or grab a coffee at Starbucks. You could also play outside, there is always something active happening on the quads, or just go meet someone. Our campus is very friendly and inviting!

To eat: Check out all the dining options! In the Bonnie we have Starbucks, Chick-Fil-A, Wild Greens, Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt and Salsaritas. The Terrace Shops have Au Bon Pan, Olo Sushi, Wendy's, Sbarro (Papa John's coming soon) and we also have Dalton Dining Hall, our all-you-can-eat options.

Off Campus?

To do: You can go see a movie at the movie theatre on Main Street, or enjoy the other downtown attractions like restaurants, the Farmers Market and shopping.

To eat: Sal's Pizza, Troy's Pizza and Subs, Macados, Applebees, Mi Puerto, Taco Inn, Mike's Pizza, Highlander Pizza, Canton's Chinese, Mongolian Grill, Panda Chinese, and El Charro, as well as various fast food establishments.

Surrounding area?

To do: Blacksburg and Christiansburg are both about 15 minutes away (by car). In Blacksburg, there are other restaurants, clubs, shopping and attractions. Christiansburg has a new large movie theater, New River Valley Mall, Target and other shopping, and even more restaurants including Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Panera, and Texas Roadhouse!

Outdoors activities

Outside you can go hiking, biking or tubing down the New River. You can also go camping at Claytor Lake or relax at Bissett Park.
