Transfer Students
We’re sorry that we missed you at this summer’s Orientation program, but we haven’t forgotten about you. We share your concern about registering for fall classes, getting moved in and becoming acquainted with your new home. We have a special fall orientation program designed to meet your new student needs.
Invitations, with instructions on signing up for the program, will be mailed beginning Monday, July 18th.
The program will take place on Thursday, August 25th and continue on Friday, August 26th, with check-in on the 25th taking place between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. in Heth 014, and the opening welcome beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the Bondurant Auditorium in Preston Hall.
Checking in prior to 4:00 p.m. will allow you to: have your ID picture taken; take care of business needs such as Financial Aid, Student Accounts, obtaining a parking pass, and read through your orientation materials. If you are unable to arrive early to take care of your business needs on Thursday, these offices will be open on Friday. If you are planning on living on campus, arriving early will also allow time to move into your residence hall which you can do between noon and 3:00 p.m. (Housing assignments will be emailed to your Radford email account no later than the first week in August.)
Information about tuition, fees, and room & board costs for 2011-2012 can be found at the Student Accounts website at http://stuacct.asp.radford.edu. Questions about the payment of your bill should be directed to Student Accounts at (540) 831-5417, or via email at stuacct@radford.edu.
