Fixing Ada Vim Mode
The current Ada mode installed as part of
Vim 7.1 does not work correctly.
- This has already been fixed for department labs.
If you'd like to fix it for your home machine, you can do the following
simple steps:
- Navigate to your vim install directory (probably C:\program
files\vim\vim71\
- Make backups of the original files using the following renames:
- rename autoload\gnat.vim autoload\gnat.orig
- rename autoload\ada.vim autoload\ada.orig
- rename ftplugin\ada.vim ftplugin\ada.orig
- rename indent\ada.vim indent\ada.orig
- Right click on the following links, and save the files into the
specified folders:
That's all there is to it.
If for some reason you want to go back to the original version, simply
delete the 4 files in the step above and rename your .orig files to .vim
files
