NSA Fall States

UC third baseman, Brandon Shelton, and outfielder, Travis Byrd, competed with the Carolina Drillers in the NSA Fall States in Burlington, N.C. Carolina Drillers (Eden, N.C.) finished fourth out of 10 teams competing in the tournament going 2-2. Carolina Drillers beat Reloaded (Kernersville, N.C.) in their first game 16-15. In the second round of the winner's bracket they lost to Triad Merchants (Burlington, N.C.) 16-8. The loss put them in the quarterfinals of the loser's bracket where they beat SMW (Eden, N.C.) 20-0. Carolina Drillers would then go on to be eliminated by Reloaded 16-11.

Reloaded would go on to win the tournament, with Duez Masters (Burlington, N.C.) finishing second, and Triad Merchants finishing third.
