About the College

In the College of Graduate and Professional Studies at Radford University, students work toward their master's or educational specialist degrees by putting theory into practice - developing competency, skills and confidence through hands-on experience and real-world application. If you're looking for strong academics, an excellent quality of life and reasonable costs, Radford University is for you. Challenging, accredited and flexible programs help you get the education needed to get ahead in your career and life. We make your learning experience our top priority.

Extended Education makes access to higher education possible for students beyond the Radford campus through graduate and undergraduate courses in Abingdon at the Southwest Higher Education Center, in Roanoke at the Roanoke Higher Education Center and Virginia Western Community College, and at other sites in southwest Virginia.

The Office of Continuing Education & Conference Services is the point of contact for Radford University and the Community for the development of conferences, camps, workshops, and other professional education programming. Conference Services provides event planning, registration and management services, facilities (meeting rooms, dining, catering, and summer lodging), and on-site logistical support for workshops, conferences, and camps hosted by the university as well as community-based organizations. Continuing Education works with university departments and colleges, as well as educational, non-profit and governmental agencies, and the business community to develop programming and provide Continuing Education Unit (CEU) credentialing for professionals in a variety of fields.
