The 11^th annual Radford Gives Back is hosting a food collection for the Bobcat Backpacks Program on the Radford University campus.

RUC in Roanoke is hosting its seventh annual volunteer experience with Feeding Southwest Virginia.

Volunteer Experience

Tuesday, October 20, 2026 1-4 p.m. at Feeding Southwest VA

Volunteers will do Quality Assurance with Feeding Southwest Virginia. This includes evaluating donated food products by inspecting and sorting packaged food products to control for such issues as shelf life, dented cans, crushed boxes, and other superficially damaged food.

Students volunteering with Feeding Southwest Virginia will receive a shirt to wear at the end of their shift.  Sign up to take part in helping Feeding Southwest Virginia.
