Biology 425 - Evolution

Welcome to Biology 425 - Evolution. As you either know or will know, evolutionary biology is expanding so rapidly, that it is impossible to keep up with the changes, while maintaining normal bodily functions. There's just too much. Rapid changes are occurring in our understanding of molecular evolution, and in the marraige of evolutionary and developmental biology. In this course we will focus our investigations into the basic issues of evolutionary biology, including phylogeny, microevolution, adaptation and the history of life. In the process we will also learn about how evolution has an impact on the daily lives of all humans.
