ADDENDUM, RU CLINICS
A copy of the Exposure control Plan will be kept in the RU Clinic Laboratory Room 155 and in the mobile unit.
Section 11.0 #2. Recapping may be necessary when medications are drawn up into a syringe for injection and a new needle is attached prior to injection. Mechanical devices or a one handed scope method must be used.
Section 6.0 #15. Gloves should be worn when injections are given.
Section 7.0 #4. Disinfecting protocols other than 1:10 bleach solution should be submitted to the RU Clinics Manager to be included in the ECP.
Section 7.0 #8. Spill kits will be provided at the First Floor Reception Desk, COSD Clinic Area, General Clinic Lab (Room 155), and the mobile unit.
Section 10.2 #7. Biohazardous waste pick-up will be provided in Waldron Hall. A central collection site will be located in Room 159 Waldron.
Section 12.0 #2. Yearly training for Primary and Secondary Categories is mandatory. An awareness training class is available for the Good Samaritan Category but is not mandatory.
Section 13.0 #1. Hepatitis B vaccines will be given at Student Health currently. The series will be offered in RU Clinics beginning January, 2001.
Section 15.0 #1. Medical records will be kept in RU Clinics Manager's office.
