Building Services

Building Services consists of carpenters, masons, painters, plasterers, roofers and electricians. They provide maintenance, installation, repair and renovations to buildings and equipment.

Personnel in the Carpenter Shop provide carpentry maintenance and renovations for university facilities. They provide 24-hour, 365 days per year emergency coverage.

The Mason Shop is primarily responsible for the construction and maintenance of brick block or slate structures. Roof replacement and repairs are other functions of the shop.

The Paint Shop is primarily responsible for the application of paint, plaster and protective coatings to all university property and equipment to ensure preservation and reduce maintenance/replacement costs.

The Electrical Department performs all types of electrical repairs, installation of new devices and new construction electrical work. They provide 24-hour, 365 days per year emergency coverage.

The Sign Shop has the capability to make various types of signs that are used around campus.has the capability
