Parking & Shuttle
Faculty may park in any available university parking lot and are also welcome to use Radford Transit.
Faculty should meet in the Martin Hall lobby at 9:30 a.m. for the College of Business and Economics, College of Visual and Performing Arts, the Waldron College of Health and Human Services, and the College of Science and Technology ceremony. Faculty in the College of Humanities and Behavioral Sciences and the College of Education and Human Development should meet at 12:30 p.m. in the same location. The faculty lineup will extend down the hall in Preston Hall to the stairs up to the auditorium entrance.
Faculty who wish to rent academic regalia for commencement may do so through the Radford University Bookstore. Rentals must be prepaid and orders must be placed by December 7. The bookstore will be open from 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. on the day of commencement so you may pick up and return the regalia that day for your convenience.
We are keeping our fingers crossed that Winter Commencement Weekend weather will be high in the 40s (average temp is 46 degrees), with spectacular blue skys. We will monitor the forecast carefully, and if severe weather appears imminent, we will post a cancellation announcement by 6 p.m. Friday evening on the university marquee on East Main Street, online at www.radford.edu and on Public Radio WVRU 89.9 FM.
Semester grades are due by Monday, Dec. 17 at 10 a.m.
