Important Information about Website Soft Launch

As a reminder, Radford University has been working with vendors on a redesign of the university's website, set to roll out in a few weeks.

We have planned a soft launch for September 14-25, with the new site currently scheduled to go live Monday, September 28.

During the soft launch we will be asking colleges, departments, and units to preview their redesigned website for the first time.

  • Another email containing the URL to preview the new website during the soft launch will be emailed Monday, September 14 with additional directions on how to review redesigned website content, graphics and images to ensure quality control.

In preparation for the soft launch of the new website, the CMS will be unavailable for edits starting Thursday, September 10 at 5 p.m.

NOTE: Also, during this time (September 10-25), in order to keep the current site and new site in sync prior to go-live, any needed updates to your current website OR adjustments to your new website will only be made by members of the Web Strategy and Interactive Media team.

To submit edits, please visit https://www.radford.edu/onestop and select Request Support. In the support incident you open please include the following information.

URL: send the URL of the page requiring an edit
Change: explain the edit, addition, or removal clearly

Please continue to work with your Web Strategy liaison if you have questions about content strategy, navigation architecture, assistance with website guidelines and search engine optimization, or if you need assistance proofing or editing content for your website. If you aren't sure who your liaison is, please visit http://www.radford.edu/content/web-strategy/home/about-department/contact.html for a full listing.

Please contact Meghan Williams at iwilliams@radford.edu if you have any questions.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation during the transition to and implementation of the new website.
