Scholar-Citizen Learning Outcomes

Radford University Scholar-Citizenship is defined by active and scholarly participation in the complex and multicultural world by connecting and applying academic skills and disciplinary knowledge to the challenges facing our local, national, and global communities.

All SCI experiences provide opportunities for engaging in a self-reflection process.

Scholar-Citizen Student Learning Outcomes

A Radford University Scholar-Citizen will be able to:

  1. Make connections between one’s academic experiences/knowledge and one’s own participation in civic life.
  2. Engage in a self-reflective process as a means of understanding civic experiences.
