Support of Service-Learning Course
Community Engagement will help you identify community agencies to partner with you for service-learning courses. Learn more about service agencies and organizations online.
Community Engagement staff or one of our student leaders will come to your class during the first several weeks of the semester to share information on service opportunities and agencies. Please plan these visits with our office before the semester begins.
The Office of Community Engagement works with the Center for Innovative Teaching and Learning and other partners to offer workshops and programs to support faculty in civic engagement work. Please contact us with civic engagement or service-learning topics which you’d like addressed. Recent faculty development programs have included: Service Learning Practices & Pedagogy; Photography, Social Sciences, & Service-Learning; and A Sampler of Local Foods, Food Systems and the Local Foods Movement
