In-depth study and research in a specialized topic concerning music education.

 

Detailed Description of Conduct of Course

For the representative examples listed in section B, the courses were conducted as follows;

 

1) lecture and participation with sample materials,
2) supervised preparation for rehearsal and/or performance of selected works of contrasting nature from the wind band repertory; applied experience with conducting the band in rehearsal and performance.

 

Goals and Objectives of the Course

The student will have knowledge and/or skills relating to a topic of a timely nature or of special interest.
