The students, as members of this ensemble, present music for public performance at the highest possible level of artistic expression. Students should develop both technical and musical skills required for orchestral performance.
Grades are based upon course attendance and participation. The primary assessment of a performing ensemble is based on the musical success of its public performance, which is a group rather than an individual achievement.
