MKTG 671: Special Topics in Marketing

Prerequisites: MBA status or permission of instructor

Credit Hours: (1-6)

MKTG 671 gives the students an opportunity to examine topics of special interest in the marketing area beyond the subjects covered in the current graduate course offerings.

 

Detailed Description of Content of the Course

The course provides the faculty and students the opportunity to take advantage of special experiential and/or unique academic opportunities for which graduate credit should be awarded. The opportunity given by the study abroad program in Antwerp is an example of an intensive study program merits academic credit, but which is not provided by any other catalog program. Additionally, special faculty skills, knowledge or research findings may merit a seminar for sharing with students on a limited basis or as a test for a possible future course.

 

Detailed Description of Conduct of the Course

Detailed syllabi will be prepared by the course instructor as a part  of the approval process to get the special topics class offered.

 

Goals and Objectives of the Course

The objective of the course is to encourage students to take advantage of special learning opportunities as they arise and to get academic credit.

 

Assessment Measures

Assessment measures will be required in the specific syllabus which justifies the special topic.
