ACTG 488H: Final Honors Project

Prerequisites: Completion of business core, enrollment in the Honors Academy, a minimum GPA of 3.5 in all courses and in Accounting.

Credit Hours: (3)

Research project in accounting. In order to receive honors credit, a student must earn a grade of "A" or "B" for the final project. Course may not be repeated.

Detailed Description of Content of Course

An honors research project in accounting.

Detailed Description of Conduct of Course

An honors level course consisting of independent research/study by the student in one or more of a variety of topics.

Goals and Objectives of the Course

At completion of the course, student will be able to demonstrate an honors level exploration of a management topic.

Assessment Measures

Customarily based on final research project and report.
