Non-Credit Instruction

Activity classes are now an outlet that is being offered by universities across the nation. Activity Classes are non-credit, instructional courses that focus on experiential learning, skill building, and the mind-body connection.  These classes offer students the chance to explore new interests for personal growth, fulfillment and fun.  Programs range across the spectrum, from dance and self-defense to cooking and general wellness. Classes will range from one day seminars or classes 4-6 weeks in duration, meeting between 2 and 3 times a week. Classes will remain small (8-12 participants) so individual instruction can be given. We will use Student Recreation staff and bring in local instructors to give our students the best experience possible. We estimate class cost to not exceed $75 but may be as inexpensive as $10 depending on cost of instruction and any additional products that may be needed for classes.
