Eclipse coverage highlights Radford in the media

The solar eclipse brought in more than a thousand people to Radford University, who took part in the event scheduled and held by the Radford University Planetarium. WSLS 10 reported on the viewing party. Additionally, The Roanoke Times reported on the event.

On Thursday, Aug. 24, Radford University welcomed nearly 1,900 Highlanders into the growing family. WDBJ7 covered freshmen move-in.

Criminal Justice Professor Tod Burke was interviewed by WFXR 21/27 regarding police response at events.

WSLS 10 also interviewed Burke about police involvement at rallies and about police reaction at a rally.

Burke spoke with WDBJ7 on how police learn from past responses to events.
