With less than two seconds remaining in the second overtime, senior guard Rashun Davis hit a 3-pointer to give the Radford men's basketball team a dramatic 82-80  victory at Georgetown Saturday in Washington, D.C.

Davis led RU scorers with a career-high 28 points. His game winner came on an assist from freshman Ed Polite, Jr. who grabbed the rebound and got the ball to Davis up the left side. Senior forward Kion Brown was a force for the Highlanders on the inside, recording his second career double-double with 10 points and a team-best 10 rebounds.

Radford rallied in the second overtime by making its final four shots from the field. Trailing by three with just over two minutes to play, senior guard Cameron Jones hit a 3-pointer to tie it and another one on the next possession that put the Highlanders ahead, 79-78, with 1:22 left. Georgetown's D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera put the Hoyas ahead on a layup with one minute to play, but they missed a 3-pointer on their next possession, giving RU the last chance.

The see-saw affair featured 18 lead changes and 11 ties, with Georgetown holding the largest lead at eight midway through the second half.
