Barnes & Noble College has been named the new operator of the Radford University Bookstore, effective June 1. Barnes & Noble College will offer a wide range of products and services, including in-store and online book rental, apparel, snacks and beverages, school supplies, educational materials and a technology store stocked with laptops and other technology products.

With Barnes & Noble College's Campus Connect technologies, students and faculty will have access to the largest selection of course materials in several cost-saving formats such as new, used and digital texts for purchase or rental. The Radford University Barnes & Noble College Bookstore will also price match online pricing of new and used textbooks from Amazon, bn.com and other online retailers, excluding marketplace and third party resellers. The price match program is tied to the initial transaction at the time of purchase.

Radford University faculty will also gain access to a groundbreaking online community, FacultyEnlight, a streamlined textbook adoption platform that combines advanced search capabilities with detailed information on course material formats, pricing and reviews by faculty from institutions around the country.

To accommodate the transition to the new operator, the bookstore in Dalton Hall will be closed after business on May 22 and reopen June 1 as Barnes & Noble College.

Radford University is one of 21 higher education institutions to partner with Barnes & Noble College in Virginia, including Virginia Commonwealth University, George Mason University and the College of William & Mary.
