Senator Warner, RU and Virginia Tech host Virginia Young Professionals Summit

Radford University is partnering with Senator Mark R. Warner and Virginia Tech to host the fourth annual Virginia Young Professionals Summit on Saturday, March 29.

The summit is an opportunity for Virginia's young professionals and future leaders to network and exchange ideas with their peers. As a personal initiative by Senator Warner, the event will provide a forum for Virginia’s next generation of leaders from across the Commonwealth to connect, build relationships and exchange ideas.

Saturday will include a conversation with Senator Warner and talks by featured speakers Jack Andraka, an inventor, scientist and cancer researcher; John Boyer, senior instructor of geology; Justin Graves, Virginia Tech graduate student; and Donna Wertalik, associate professor of practice at the Virginia Tech Pamplin School of Business.

In between speakers, young professionals will attend a networking luncheon and workshops about topics such as personal branding, resume and interview tips, and connecting with peers and colleagues.

Following the summit, Virginia Tech and Radford University will host a Networking Happy Hour in the President’s Box of Virginia Tech's Lane Stadium.

The summit is free to attend but registration is required. For more information, or to register, visit the Virginia Young Professionals Summit website.
