Quest orientation kicks off for incoming freshmen

Quest assistants

Nearly 2,000 members of Radford University's incoming freshmen class will visit campus throughout the next several weeks to participate in the Quest orientation program.

Hundreds of students and their parents arrived this morning for the first of four two-day Quest sessions, catered to new freshmen. Check-in is held at Peters Hall, where students are then guided to Heth Hall for short meetings and to receive their RU IDs. An opening ceremony is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. in Bondurant Auditorium, then Quest Assistants will guide students and their parents through living and dining arrangements, provide opportunities for students to interact and engage, and share knowledge on how to thrive and succeed academically.

Quest was offered last week to transfer students, and three Quest Express programs – an abbreviated orientation also for new freshmen – will be offered in July.
