Change coming to alumni email system

Radford University’s Division of Information Technology (DoIT) is currently implementing an enhanced email system for alumni.

Email accounts will be moved to Office 365, which is hosted by Microsoft. The Office 365 system will provide 10GB of email storage for each user – about 170 times the current mailbox storage capacity. Users may continue to access their email by logging into MyRU and clicking on the "Email" icon.

Microsoft will complete the migration of email accounts the week of Aug. 4. For smartphones, tablets or Outlook to access users' email, this will stop working when their mailbox is migrated. At that time, users will need to update the email settings on their device. The information in the DoIT knowledge base (Student/Alumni Email – Creating Alumni Version) will help reconfigure these settings.
