Diane Hodge

Diane  Hodge, professor of social work in the Waldron College of Health and Human Services at Radford University, has been named interim director of the School of Social Work, effective in August.

Hodge has a Ph.D. in social work from Ohio State University, a Master of Social Work from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts from Alma College. She is also a licensed clinical social worker in Virginia.

"My goal is to successfully complete the reaffirmation process for accreditation of our social work programs next year and support the continued expansion of our educational programs and professional service to the community. We graduate exceptional students in all of our programs," Hodge said. "I want to continue to support these students and our outstanding faculty to maintain our reputation."

Hodge succeeds Elise Fullmer, who served as the department's director for five years and will be retiring from Radford University.
