The campus WeCar program is now known as Enterprise CarShare.

The campus WeCar program is now known as Enterprise CarShare.

The WeCar vehicle rental program at Radford University now has a new name: Enterprise CarShare. However, the program’s service remains the same.

Enterprise CarShare is a membership-based, automated car-rental option that offers vehicles on a short-term basis. The program is available to students, faculty and staff with a credit card and a valid driver’s license.

Registered members have access to a Ford Focus and a Nissan Altima Hybrid in parking lot F between Muse and Tyler Hall. Drivers access the vehicles with their registration cards. WeCar registration cards continue to work after the name change.

An Enterprise CarShare member can reserve a vehicle online, and then access it with the membership card. Vehicles are returned to the pickup spot in lot F. Fuel and insurance are included. Students 18 and older are eligible for membership in Enterprise CarShare and its around-the-clock access. Rentals are by the hour, by the day and overnight.

The Enterprise CarShare program operates services to more than 60 universities, as well as dozens of military bases, federal, state and local government entities, corporations and retail markets throughout North America.
