Forum invites students to share their best work

Students interested in presenting their work at professional meetings can gain experience at the 22nd Undergraduate and Graduate Student Engagement Forum in April on campus. Proposals may be submitted starting Friday, March 1.

The Student Engagement Forum is an opportunity to experience what is typically expected at national and global academic conferences. Over the past two decades, hundreds of RU students have shared their work at the annual conference, which is coordinated by the Radford University Honors Academy.

Submissions of scholarly or creative work from all RU students, both undergraduates and graduates, are welcome for the forum, set for Tuesday, April 16, through Thursday, April 18. Among options to submit for consideration are oral presentations, poster presentations and artistic exhibits or performances. Honors Academy students also may submit their capstone projects, honors contracts and work done in honors classes.

Students interested in participating may enter abstracts of their work beginning March 1 through the submissions portal on the RU Honors Academy website. The deadline for abstracts is Monday, March 25.
