"It is always special when faculty, parents and staff can mark the achievements of our students and welcome them to a prestigious society of excellence like Beta Alpha Psi," said COBE Dean Faye Gilbert, who joined RU Professors Wayne Saubert and Lynn Saubert at the ceremony to administer the oaths and pin the inductees.

BAP is an honorary organization for financial information professionals with 300 chapters and more than 300,000 professional, faculty and student members around the world. The objective of BAP is to encourage and recognize scholastic and professional excellence in the business information field.

"This is a unique group in my view because BAP is an honor society that values professional and community service as well as academics," said Wayne Saubert, RU's BAP advisor.

Among the chapter's service activities are tutoring clinics for COBE accounting students, career development and networking events, food drives and hosting holiday meals for community organizations.
