    Melissa Stallard’s work examines the cultural landscape throughout the Southeastern and Midwestern parts of the United States. Her work has been exhibited nationally including solo exhibitions and as part of the Compé 13: International Photography Exhibition at Project Basho in Philadelphia. Most recently, her work has been featured online in The Oxford American’s "Eyes on The South" and as part of FotoFilmic’s Artist Feature. Stallard is an Assistant Professor and Coordinator of the photography program at the Mary Schiller Myers School of Art at The University of Akron. Gallery closes between noon and 1 p.m.

    Dr. R. Wayne Gallops, conductor Dr. John Locke – guest conductor Wallace Easter - horn soloist Wallace Easter III – horn soloist The University Wind Ensemble and Chamber WInd Ensembles will perform under the baton of Radford University conductor Dr. Wayne Gallops and guest conductor, Dr. John Locke. The concert features the "Symphony in Bb" by Paul Hindemith and a featured performance of Haydn's "Concerto in Eb for Two Horns", with "Father and Son" hornists Wallace Easter and Wallace Easter III. Other works by Leonard Bernstein and Sir Edward Elgar round out this extraordinary evening of music making!
