James Still’s retelling of the much-loved story by Margery Williams shows a young man recalling his relationship with his favorite childhood toy, the velveteen rabbit. Through this memory he experiences the poignancy of loss and learns of the surprising wonders of love.
Tickets are $6 for general admission, $5 for RU faculty and staff, $3 for children, and free to students with RU ID. Tickets go on sale the week prior to the event at the Porterfield Box Office or by calling (540) 831-5289. The Box Office is open Monday through Friday, noon to 6 p.m., and one hour before each performance.
