After visiting a number of universities, it didn’t take Gina Sultan long to decide that Radford University was the place for her. From Radford’s well-known Department of Criminal Justice to the individualized student attention she knew she’d receive, Sultan felt confident in her decision.

“If a prospective student is looking for individual learning and a caring atmosphere, then this is the place for them to be,” said Sultan, who was born in Egypt but has spent most of her life in Virginia.

A dedicated student, Sultan loves that the recently renovated Young Hall is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The facility provides dozens of cozy alcoves where students are invited to study quietly.

“It’s a great spot on campus,” Sultan says. “It definitely helps to have a quiet retreat to go to if I need to study late at night.”

With just a year left of college, Sultan has already begun planning for her future. Law school is on tap; her goal is to practice domestic law.

“Thanks to my Radford education, coupled with the support of my professors and advisors, family and friends, I know I will achieve my goal,” she said.

From orientation to graduation, Radford University offers students a welcoming experience. To learn more about campus, consider a campus visit or take the virtual tour.
