Appointments

Students, you can schedule an advising appointment with your academic advisor onine using Starfish.  Log in using your Radford University username and password.  

How to Schedule Your Advising Appointment

Click "Advising Appointments (Starfish)" within the Academic icon in the MyRU Portal

Click "My Success Network" located on the left hand side of the main screen

Find your academic advisor and select "Schedule Appointment" (use your Degree Audit to find your advisor's name)

At the top of the calendar, navigate to the "Week" view and use the arrows to scroll through the weeks to find availability (it will default to the current day)

Available appointments will have a green "plus-sign". Find a date and time that will work for you and click the link "Sign Up"

Complete "Add Appointment" form and click "Submit"

You will be notified via email that you have been scheduled for an appointment

 

Dates/Deadlines

Fall 2017 Semester

August 28:         Fall classes begin

September 1:        Last day for new freshman to Add/Drop (5 p.m.)

September 3:     Last day for new transfers and continuing UG students to Add/Drop

September 4:     Labor Day - Classes in Session

September 11:   Last day to withdraw with a full tuition refund

October 13:       Fall Break

October 20:       Mid-Semester grades due by 10:00 a.m. 

November 3:     Last day to withdraw from one or more (but not all) classes with the grade of a "W"   

November 17:    Last day to withdraw from the University (all classes) with a grade of "W"

November 18-26:    Thanksgiving Break

December 8:            Last day of classes

December 11-14:    Fall exams

December 18:         Grades Due by 10:00 a.m.

The 2017 Fall Majors & Minors Fair will be held on Tuesday, October 10th, from 1pm - 3pm in the lower level of Heth Hall.
