We offer five orientation programs: three summer events, two for new freshmen and one for transfer students, one fall and one spring event. Our orientation programs begin the supportive process with a comprehensive overview of university culture, resources and services.
The main orientation objectives are to academically advise and register new students for the upcoming semester. Faculty advisors and student leaders who serve as Quest Assistants offer new students guidance and reassurance during the time they are here.
Quest, our two-day program for new freshmen and their parents begins with check-in between 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM on the first day, and will conclude around noon the second day.
Quest Express, our new program for new freshmen and their parents, is an abbreviated version of Quest that will take place between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
Transfer Quest is also a day-long program taking place between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. It is exclusively for students transferring from another two- or four-year institution.
