FAQs

Is there any cost to use the 3D printers?

No, there is no charge for use for most projects. If a project requires an unusually large amount of consumable materials, a fee may be assessed.

Who has access to the 3D printers?

Anyone on campus, students, staff or faculty, can use the 3D printers for projects. Some Makerspaces require appointments or have limited hours so please check the Makerspace where the needed equipment is located.

Is there any training available for the 3D printers?

Faculty and students will offer periodic workshops and training. These workshops will be open to the entire campus community.
