How do I log on to My Library Account?

There is a new way to look at your library account!

The first time you log in, from, choose Set/reset password. At the next screen, enter your nine-digit RU ID number, or your 13-digit public patron number. Then click Request new password.

You will immediately receive an email from Library Password Management, with a link to a new screen where you will create your new password.

** Where you are asked for User Name, enter your RU ID NUMBER or PUBLIC PATRON NUMBER. ** Be sure to enter your entire nine-digit RU ID number, or your entire 13-digit public patron number. Then create a password, and click Change Password.

Now you will be able to log in to your new library account. If you have any questions, please contact the Front Desk at or 540-831-5364. Please note that if you do not have a valid email on file at the Front Desk, you will not be able to create an account following the directions above—so you will need to contact the Front Desk for assistance.
