    The 12th Annual Radford University International Guitar Festival will bring internationally noted Guitarist performers to the sonic splendor of the Performance Hall in the Covington Center for Visual and Performing Arts, April 5th, 6th, and 7th 2013. The International Guitar Festival has consistently drawn an audience to the New River Valley from Northern Virginia as well as beyond the borders of the Commonwealth of Virginia, including Maryland, North Carolina and as far north as New York State. In conjunction with "Radford After Dark," the RU International Education Center, and the RU Spanish Club and Mu Phi Epsilon, the theme for 2013 is The Influence of Spain and Italy, and will bring: Brazilian guitarist Guilherme Vincens Venezuelan guitarist Pablo Gamez Italian guitarist Stefano Raponi Mexican guitarist Leonardo Martin Candelaria Ryan Book and Michael Havens in an Radford University Alumni performance A community guitar orchestra of students from across Virginia joins RU students in a community performance Music and instrument vendors ALL EVENTS ARE FREE and are held at the Covington Center for Visual and Performing Arts on the campus of Radford University, Radford, VA (corner of Jefferson and Main Sts. Radford, VA 24142).
