Only specific majors at RU are eligible for the Teach Grant program. You must be fully admitted to the Teacher Education program.
You must be accepted into this program before your application for the Teach Grant will be processed. If you have questions regarding the Teacher Education program that you are pursuing, please contact the Center for Academic Advising and Student Support in the College of Education and Human Development.

For the Federal Teach Grant program, you must be enrolled for at least 6 credit hours.

I understand that I must have at least a 3.25 cumulative grade point average and that I must maintain at least a 3.25 cumulative grade point average.
I understand that I must have the results of a a valid Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) sent to the RU Financial Aid Office.
I understand that if I am approved for a Teach Grant that I will be required to complete Entrance Counseling for the Teach Grant. I also understand that I will have to complete the Entrance Counseling each year that I receive the Teach Grant.
I understand that if I am approved for a Teach Grant that I will be required to complete the Agreement to Serve (ATS) for the Teach Grant Program.
I understand that the Federal Teach Grant will become a Federal Direct Unsubsidized Stafford Loan if I do not fulfill the requirements of the Teach Agreement to Serve (ATS).
