Festival Fun Includes Young and Young at Heart

The Radford Highlanders Festival offers a great selection of children’s games and activities.

Events are designed for children age 5 to preteen, but all who are interested in discovering more about Scottish culture in an interactive way are welcome. Look for the Sterling Sword Players, a kids’ caber toss, sack races and a one-of-a-kind crafts area featuring Radford University Professor Richard Bay’s medieval knight activity and face painting among the fun for the wee ones.
