This system is designed for Radford University students and RU staff to sign-up to receive RU Alert phone, text message and email emergency alerts. Registered users can also add secondary emails, phones, and contacts such as family members and friends to receive emergency messages.
Of note, RU Alert emails are sent through the RU network automatically during an emergency regardless of an individual being signed up through the RU Alert system. These emails have a subject heading of RU Alert and are sent to all radford.edu account holders.
Sign up for RU Alerts through the Radford University web site MyRU portal, select the Personal Info icon, and go to RU Alert column. You may also return to this link anytime to edit or remove yourself from the system.
The RU Alert system data base is updated annually. It is important to check your information by January 30th of every year.
