Faculty recital provides donations for homeless men

Dr. Robert Trent, Director of Guitar Studies at the College of Visual and Performing Arts, recently gave a free solo performance on campus for his faculty recital. During the event, he solicited donations of food, clothing and money from attendees to donate to charity. Trent was pleased to receive a box of clothing, canned goods, and over $100 in cash donations which he donated to To Our House, a local nonprofit organization that provides shelter to homeless men in the New River Valley.
