    RU dance students present original choreography

    Five dance majors will present their creative works in the 2014 Student Choreography Showcase April 23 and 24, as part of the Radford University Student Engagement Forum. Pieces cover such themes as goodbyes, historic subject matter, relationships, type A personalities, mannequins who come to life, and student motivations.

    Dance majors perform in New York

    Radford University’s Assistant Professor of Dance Amy VanKirk was among 14 selected choreographers selected to present work at New York Jazz Choreography Project. With this, she took six dance majors to perform her work on the Salvatore Capezio Theater stage.

    RU dancers are "Dancing on the Edge"

    The RU Department of Dance is once again “Dancing on the Edge” with its annual spring concert. This year the choreography by dance faculty danah bella, Inessa Plekhanova and Amy VanKirk will be featured along with that of guest artists Wesley Williams Jr. and Atiba Rorie.
