Position: Full-time Tenure Track in Dance - Emphasis in Contemporary Dance Technique and Dance Theory, beginning Fall 2014
Qualifications: The successful candidate will be a congenial collaborator and mentor with strong oral and written communication skills. Requirements: terminal degree in dance and experience in undergraduate teaching. Preference given to those candidates with competency in online course delivery.
Description: Duties include teaching advanced levels of Jazz Dance technique and two other areas of dance technique that could include Musical Theatre Dance, World Dance, or Modern Dance. Teaching responsibilities will also include teaching some dance theory. Will choreograph for main stage productions; supervise student choreography projects, and participate in department academic advising.
