Three IT competitions were held at Radford University on March 16-17th, hosted by RU’s Department of Information Technology. The IT competitions were designed to promote software development skills among high school and community college students in the Commonwealth of Virginia and foster stronger relationships between the information technology programs in the Virginia school systems and Radford University. A scholarship was awarded to each member of the first place winners for their first semester at Radford University. The three competitions consisted of a Game Programming Competition, High School Programming Competition, and a Community College Programming Competition.
