Students Attend State Wildlife Meeting
Fourteen students from Radford University joined Dr. Karen Francl at the annual meeting of the state chapter of The Wildlife Society at Smith Mountain Lake. Three students (John Huth, Devon Silva, and Nikohl Miller) gave oral presentations and four students (Kelsey Townsend, Melissa Whistleman, Dorothy Landgren, and Laken Cooper) presented posters at this meeting.
Sophomore Brenna Hyzy was elected as the student representative for the state chapter for the 2013-2014 term and Dr. Karen Francl was elected president of this chapter, a 3 year commitment.
