Biology Majors will Present Research at National Honors Conference

Erin A. Fowler and Jasmine Y. Jackson have just been notified that their research presentation "Expression of Arsenic Resistance Genes in Bacteria from an Arsenic Mine" has been accepted at the National Collegiate Honors Council Conference to be held October 19-23 in Phoenix, AZ. Both students are members of the Radford University Honors Academy. Erin is a junior Biology major and Jasmine is a sophomore Biology major. Their research mentor is Dr. Georgia Hammond.
