Assistant Professor of Management Danylle Kunkel started her career working in industry and discovered a need and a desire for preparing students for entering the workforce. One of Kunkel's favorite things about teaching in management is that it is interdisciplinary - no matter what field or industry students desire to go into, management is useful and helpful.

The third-most-followed professor on Twitter, Dr. Schirr recently introduced a class on social media marketing for the College of Business and Economics.


The College of Business and Economics Building

The new College of Business and Economics building is the academic home of the university's 1,500 business majors. It was designed to stimulate collaboration and teamwork not only in its classrooms but also in its conference rooms and meeting spaces. It features the latest in financial research capabilities, including a trading room that simulates an actual financial operations center.

Groundbreaking on COBE Building

RU is on the move! On May 6, 2010, RU broke ground on a new home for the College of Business and Economics. The $44 million, 110,000-square-foot signature building will be constructed at the corner of Tyler Ave. and Jefferson St. and will redefine the gateway to the campus. The first leadership gift to support this project has been made by Jeff and Harriet Price.
