Radford University’s Educator Preparation Program will host a CAEP accreditation site
visit November 17–19, 2025. Third-party comments may be submitted by October 3, 2025
and must address the quality of our professional education programs.
The College of Education and Human Development builds on Radford University's rich
history as a teaching institution by offering diverse programs that empower students
to become engaged professionals who are responsive to the needs of communities, families
and individuals.
For the fifth consecutive year, educator preparation programs in the College of Education
and Human Development have been recognized among the Top Education Colleges for 2025-26.
Colleges of Distinction granted this award as a stamp of approval for the effective
ways that students are prepared to lead their own classrooms after graduation.
The College of Education and Human Development supports a variety of offices and centers
focused on building and enhancing communities of lifelong learners.
